“Thiago achieved the feat of establishing a new level in terms of electric bass, especially on fretless bass. His solid training, combined with an extraordinary technique and an astonishing ability to improvise, made him capable of playing Bach and Jaco Pastorius with the same dexterity and intimacy.” Arnaldo DeSouteiro - CEO of Jazz Station Records

“Thiago is a phenomenal musician, of course, but also a great composer. His songs are really catchy, with deep grooves, logical harmonies and melodies that I can't get out of my head.“ Joshua Redman

"Thiago is an extremely competent bandleader and composer, to say the least. His songs have a feel and a presence that some people have to work decades to achieve." Matt Cibula - All About Jazz

Throughout the years he has performed and recorded in Brazil and abroad with many great artists, including tours with Joshua Redman, Chris Potter, Yamandu Costa and Hamilton de Holanda.
